I was not able to ride my cruiser over 200 miles due to back pain. As it set in the garage, I knew that there must be a bike I could ride.After test driving a used 2003 RT,I sold my cruiser. I am happy to say I commute 500 miles a week and the BMW is very accommodating. The seat places me in a position that takes pressure off my low back. Also a trip to Colorado at 350-500 miles a day was no problem. The bike is responsive to the rider at any speed and I have had to use the brakes hard on two occasions and their performance stopped me quickly enough to keep me out of trouble. I am planning on purchasing heated gear to be able to ride this winter. Can't say enough positive things about this bike.
