Can-Am Expands Its ATV Offering

BRP debuts its new line of Can-Am ATVs.
August 24, 2007

Palm Desert, CA - For 2008, BRP debuts a new line of high-content Can-Am ATVs: the X-package models. Hardcore ATV enthusiasts always want more from their ATVs. As this often means loading up a stock ATV with thousands of dollars in aftermarket accessories, the new Can-Am X-package models offer not only a performance and appearance boost, but a great value.

Three 2008 X-package models are available: DS 450 EFI X, Renegade 800H.O. EFI X and DS 90 X. Each model offers sleek, race-inspired add-ons. Both the DS 450 X and Renegade X include race-ready, high-performance shocks (with high- and low-speed adjustment), aluminum taper-profile handlebars, skid plates and more. The DS 450 X adds race-inspired nerf bars. The DS 90 X is ready for high performance with its nerf bars, sport-look exhaust, HPG piggyback shocks, kick-up footpegs and more.

All three models get a special X appearance package made up of black wheels, black bodywork, X seat cover and graphics. Adding all these features after the sale would cost hundreds, if not thousands more: the X package is an impressive value.

BRP debuted the X-package concept with its 2001 Ski-Doo MX Z and Summit X package snowmobiles, which continue to be the most sought-after Ski-Doo sleds year after year.

The 2008 Can-Am X-package models will be in dealerships this fall.
